Eddie’s Bakery, a New York City institution, celebrates its 50th anniversary on Thursday, July 11, 2018.
It was founded in 1926, and has been on a mission to improve the quality of life in its neighborhood.
The bakery, which is located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, was founded on the idea that all of us deserve a bakery that is warm, tasty and full of joy.
“Our goal is to make people feel comfortable in their own home and bring joy to the neighborhood and the world,” the company said in a statement.
“We are grateful to the many friends, family and neighbors who have helped us along the way, as well as the people who have come before us.”
“Eddie’s Bakry is grateful to our customers for their support and love, and we would like to thank the many people who are still a part of our family.
We will be doing everything we can to help make it even better.”
The celebration comes as the company continues to strive for sustainability, which it hopes will bring in more customers and help ensure that the bakery remains a success for years to come.
Eddy’s Bakary opened in 1926 and is known for its butter, cream and cheeses.
In the 1970s, the bakery was closed when it was renovated, but the bakery reopened in 2015 after being shuttered for nearly a decade.
Eggs and pastries are served at Eddie’s Bakeries, which has been open since 1926.
The store is currently closed.
