A Swedish bakery that opened its doors in the United States to refugees on Wednesday will serve only a limited menu of sandwiches, cookies and cookies and cupcakes.
The store, which was designed to cater to “a very particular market” but has also attracted many refugees, will offer only sandwiches and pastries for now, a Swedish Migration Agency spokeswoman told The Associated Press.
The move comes just weeks after the Swedish government began accepting refugees from the Middle East, including refugees from Syria, Eritrea, Afghanistan and Sudan.
