Donald Trump’s self-proclaimed “bakers” are trying to tell the world that he has never made a single slice of bread.
The New York Post reports that while Trump has been out campaigning in Iowa and New Hampshire, his own bakery has been selling its wares at Trump-branded events and has been featured on the Trump-owned reality show The Apprentice.
According to the Post, Trump’s baking has made its way into the hands of the press and is currently being promoted on the Apprentice.
The show has been a ratings hit, but the Trump Bakery has been among the most popular in Trump’s portfolio, according to the paper.
Trump has been known to take a more direct approach to his bakery business.
In March of 2015, the New York Daily News reported that Trump was taking a “baking challenge” in order to earn more business.
According to the report, Trump was going door to door and selling bread to people who would then donate it to charities, but he was also selling a few loaves to those who donated $5,000.
Trump’s personal brand, Trump Bakeries, is also the name of his golf club.
If Trump’s campaign is anything to go by, he’ll be a great breadmaker.
